10-Minute Garlic Chili Oil Noodles

If you’re craving a bold, spicy, and savory noodle dish that’s ready in just 10 minutes, these Garlic Chili Oil Noodles are a must-try! With garlic-infused chili oil, chewy noodles, and simple pantry ingredients, this dish is quick, easy, and packed with umami flavor.

Perfect for a lazy lunch, quick dinner, or midnight snack, these noodles require minimal effort but deliver maximum taste!


Ingredients (Serves 2)

For the Noodles:

  • 200g (7 oz) noodles (udon, ramen, or rice noodles)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the Garlic Chili Oil:

  • 3 tablespoons neutral oil (vegetable or sesame)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more for extra heat)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (or gochugaru for a Korean twist)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (or lime juice)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (or brown sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Noodles

1️⃣ Bring a pot of water to a boil, add salt, and cook noodles according to package instructions.
2️⃣ Drain and set aside.


Step 2: Make the Garlic Chili Oil

3️⃣ In a small saucepan, heat neutral oil over medium heat.
4️⃣ Add minced garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn it!).
5️⃣ Stir in red pepper flakes, chili powder, and sesame seeds. Remove from heat.


Step 3: Assemble the Noodles

6️⃣ In a large bowl, add cooked noodles, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey.
7️⃣ Pour the hot garlic chili oil over the noodles and toss to coat evenly.


Step 4: Garnish & Serve

8️⃣ Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and extra chili flakes.
9️⃣ Serve warm and enjoy!
