4-Ingredient Banana Bars

If you’re looking for a quick, healthy, and naturally sweet snack, these 4-Ingredient Banana Bars are a must-try! Made with ripe bananas, oats, peanut butter, and chocolate chips, these bars are soft, chewy, and packed with flavor—perfect for breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a sweet treat.

The best part? They take just 5 minutes to prep and are naturally gluten-free and refined sugar-free!


Ingredients (Makes 8 Bars)

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
  • ¼ cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (or raisins, nuts, or coconut flakes)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (for extra sweetness)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking dish (8×8-inch) with parchment paper.


Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

2️⃣ In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
3️⃣ Stir in the oats, peanut butter, and chocolate chips until fully combined. (Add any optional ingredients at this stage!)


Step 3: Shape & Bake

4️⃣ Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5️⃣ Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bars are set and lightly golden.


Step 4: Cool & Serve

6️⃣ Let cool for 10 minutes, then slice into bars.
