Air Fried Chicken Tender Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing

Crispy, juicy chicken tenders are air fried to golden perfection and served over a bed of greens, crunchy veggies, and drizzled with creamy homemade honey mustard dressing.

For the Chicken Tenders:

  • 1 pound chicken tenders or chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray

For the Salad:

  • 4 cups mixed greens (romaine, spinach, arugula, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • Optional: shredded cheese, sliced avocado, or croutons

For the Honey Mustard Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Water to thin, if needed

  1. Prep the Chicken
    Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge each piece in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  2. Air Fry the Chicken
    Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray tenders with olive oil spray and air fry in a single layer for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  3. Make the Honey Mustard Dressing
    Whisk together mayo, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Thin with a bit of water if desired.
  4. Assemble the Salad
    In bowls, layer mixed greens with cherry tomatoes, onion, cucumber, and carrots. Slice chicken tenders and place on top.
  5. Serve
    Drizzle generously with honey mustard dressing and enjoy immediately!
