Introduction

If you love warm apple desserts, these Apple Crisp Bites are going to be your new favorite treat! Imagine buttery cinnamon-spiced apples topped with a crispy oat crumble, all packed into bite-sized cups that are perfect for snacking, parties, or a cozy fall dessert.

These mini apple crisp bites are easier to make than traditional apple crisp and bake up quickly in a muffin tin. Serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or enjoy them on their own for a delicious handheld treat. Letโ€™s get baking!


Ingredients (in Grams)

For the Apple Filling:

  • 3 medium apples (about 300g), peeled and diced
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ยฝ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

For the Crisp Topping:

  • 100g old-fashioned oats
  • 75g all-purpose flour
  • 100g brown sugar

  • 75g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Base:

  • 150g graham cracker crumbs
  • 60g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Muffin Tin

  1. Preheat your oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF).
  2. Grease a mini muffin tin or line with parchment cups.

Step 2: Make the Apple Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch until apples are well coated.

Step 3: Make the Crust

  1. In another bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
  2. Press about 1 teaspoon of the mixture into each mini muffin cup, forming a firm base.

Step 4: Prepare the Crisp Topping

  1. In a bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until crumbly.

Step 5: Assemble & Bake

  1. Spoon a small amount of the apple mixture over each crust.
  2. Sprinkle crisp topping generously over the apples.
  3. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  4. Let them cool for 5 minutes, then carefully remove from the muffin tin.
