BBQ Sausage Bites

Ingredients (Serves 8-10)

  • Smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced โ€“ 450g (1 lb)
  • BBQ sauce โ€“ 240ml (1 cup)
  • Brown sugar โ€“ 50g (ยผ cup)
  • Worcestershire sauce โ€“ 1 tbsp

Optional:

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick
  • Toothpicks for easy serving

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.

Step 2: Cook the Sausage

  1. Slice the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage pieces for 2-3 minutes per side, until they are lightly browned.

Step 3: Simmer & Coat

  1. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the sausages and stir to coat evenly.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and let them simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and caramelizes.

Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Transfer to a serving dish and insert toothpicks for easy grabbing.
  2. Serve warm and watch them disappear!
