This Best Banana Bread is super moist, easy to make, and absolutely delicious! It’s the perfect way to use up overripe bananas and makes a great snack or breakfast. Plus, it freezes beautifully, so you can enjoy it later too!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease and flour an 8.5×4.5-inch loaf pan, or spray it with baking spray.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir until well combined.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then mix until incorporated.
- Add the flour and walnuts (or chocolate chips) and stir gently until the flour is just mixed in.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack. Slice into 10 thick slices and enjoy!
Notes:
- Baking time: If using a larger or smaller pan, adjust the baking time accordingly.
