Best Ever Chewy Brownies

These Best Ever Chewy Brownies are rich, fudgy, and perfectly chewy with a crackly top. Made with real chocolate and simple ingredients, they’re the ultimate brownie indulgence! ????✨


Ingredients (Makes 16 brownies)

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
  • 8 oz (226g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (28g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt Butter and Chocolate:
    In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chopped chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix Sugars and Eggs:
    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until thick and pale, about 2 minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine with Chocolate Mixture:
    Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar-egg mixture, stirring until fully combined.
  5. Add Dry Ingredients:
    Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour Batter into Pan:
    Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake:
    Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  8. Cool and Serve:
    Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment overhang. Slice into squares and enjoy!
