Bacon, Egg, and Hashbrown Harmony – The Ultimate Morning Comfort Food

This breakfast casserole is a dreamy blend of crispy hashbrowns, savory bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese. It’s easy to prep, perfect for feeding a group, and great for weekend brunches, meal prep, or holiday mornings.

  • Frozen hashbrowns (shredded or diced) – 500g
  • Bacon – 200g, cooked and crumbled
  • Large eggs – 6
  • Whole milk or cream – 120ml (½ cup)
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded) – 150g
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Onion (optional) – 1 small (100g), finely chopped

5. Assemble the Casserole

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the hashbrown and bacon layers. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.

6. Bake

Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the eggs are set in the center and the top is golden and bubbling. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
