Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls

These Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls are a quick and delicious way to start your day! Flaky crescent rolls are stuffed with savory sausage, creamy cheese, and a touch of seasoning for a warm, satisfying breakfast or brunch treat. Perfect for on-the-go mornings, gatherings, or a hearty snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 2 tubes crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for brushing)

Flaky dough, savory sausage, and melty cheese combine to create a crowd-pleasing breakfast or snack that’s as easy to make as it is to eat.


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and allow it to cool slightly.

3️⃣ Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.

4️⃣ Assemble the Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough around the filling, starting at the wide end, and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

5️⃣ Optional Egg Wash: For a golden, shiny finish, brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.

6️⃣ Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.

7️⃣ Serve: Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mustard, or breakfast gravy.
