This Caprese Dip is everything you love about a classic Caprese salad—ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil—transformed into a warm, bubbly, cheesy appetizer. With just a few fresh ingredients, this dip delivers bold, savory Italian flavor in every gooey bite.


🍅 Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1–2 medium ripe tomatoes, diced and drained
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ cup (15g) fresh basil leaves, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • Optional: Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or cast-iron skillet.

  4. Top with tomatoes: In a separate bowl, toss diced tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spoon over the cheese mixture.
  5. Add remaining mozzarella and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  6. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end if you want a golden top.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
