Caprese Dip

January 25, 2025 by el hassan Leave a Comment

This baked Caprese Dip is a melty, cheesy, and flavorful appetizer inspired by the classic Caprese salad! With gooey mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fragrant basil, it’s the perfect dip for parties, game nights, or any gathering. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers for the ultimate crowd-pleaser!

???? Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers, for serving

???? Instructions

Step 1: Prep & Preheat

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a small baking dish with olive oil.

Step 2: Make the Cheese Base

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Step 3: Add the Tomatoes & Bake

  1. Scatter cherry tomato halves on top of the cheese mixture. Drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Step 4: Finish with Basil & Balsamic Glaze

  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle fresh basil on top.
  2. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra flavor.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.

???? Tips for the Best Caprese Dip

✔️ Use fresh mozzarella for an extra gooey, melty dip.
✔️ Make it extra creamy by adding a splash of heavy cream.
✔️ For a smoky touch, roast the cherry tomatoes before adding them.
✔️ Add a protein boost with crumbled cooked bacon or grilled chicken.
