Cheesy Garlic Bread

Few things are more irresistible than a warm, golden loaf of Cheesy Garlic Bread! With crispy edges, gooey melted cheese, and a rich garlic butter spread, this homemade version is better than any restaurant-style garlic bread.

Perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or snack, this easy recipe pairs beautifully with pasta, soups, or even on its own!


Ingredients (Serves 6-8)

  • 1 French baguette (or Italian bread)
  • 100g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
2️⃣ Line a baking tray with parchment paper.


Step 2: Prepare the Garlic Butter

3️⃣ In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.


Step 3: Assemble the Garlic Bread

4️⃣ Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise.
5️⃣ Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves.
6️⃣ Sprinkle with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.


Step 4: Bake Until Golden & Gooey

7️⃣ Place the bread on the baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8️⃣ For extra crispiness, broil for 2 minutes until golden brown.


Step 5: Garnish & Serve

9️⃣ Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
