This dish is a family favorite because it’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor. The combination of ranch seasoning and cheese creates a creamy, tangy, and slightly smoky taste that pairs wonderfully with side dishes like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or even pasta. Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 600g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5g)
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (2.5g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5g)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5g)

For the Ranch Sauce:

  • 120g sour cream
  • 80g mayonnaise
  • 1 packet (30g) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)

For the Cheesy Topping:

  • 150g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel, then rub them with olive oil.
  4. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.

Step 2: Make the Ranch Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning mix, and lemon juice until smooth.

Step 3: Assemble the Dish

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish.
  2. Spread a generous layer of the ranch sauce over each piece of chicken.
  3. Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Step 4: Bake to Perfection
