Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole Recipe

This Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, packed with creamy ranch-flavored sauce, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and cheesy goodness. It’s an easy-to-make, crowd-pleasing dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights or meal prepping. With just a few simple ingredients, this hearty casserole will quickly become a family favorite!


Ingredients

For the Casserole:

  • 300g pasta (penne, rotini, or rigatoni)
  • 450g boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 250g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 100g shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Ranch Sauce:

  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 125ml milk
  • 125g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (28g) ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra bacon bits

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the pasta until al dente according to package instructions.
  3. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the cubed chicken, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Ranch Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add cream cheese, heavy cream, and milk over low heat. Stir until melted and smooth.
  2. Whisk in the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 4: Assemble the Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, bacon, and ranch sauce. Mix well.
  3. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch (23x33cm) baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Step 5: Bake & Serve

  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra bacon bits.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy!
