Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

If you love comfort food, this Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta is the ultimate creamy, cheesy, and savory dish. Packed with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and a rich ranch-flavored sauce, this recipe is perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or family dinners.

With just a few simple ingredients, you can have a delicious pasta dish that tastes like a restaurant-quality meal—all in under 30 minutes!


Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

For the Pasta

  • 300 g (10 oz) pasta (penne, rotini, or rigatoni)
  • 1 tbsp salt (for boiling water)

For the Chicken & Bacon

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 200 g (7 oz) bacon (cooked and crumbled)

For the Ranch Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 250 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 120 ml (½ cup) milk
  • 60 g (½ cup) cream cheese
  • 50 g (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

For Garnish

  • Fresh parsley or chives (chopped)
  • Extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken & Bacon

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and chicken. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is golden and cooked through. Set aside.

Step 3: Make the Ranch Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Add cream cheese, Parmesan, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.

Step 4: Assemble the Pasta

  1. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the sauce.
  2. Toss everything together until well coated.
  3. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk to loosen it.

Step 5: Garnish & Serve

  1. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley or chives.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!
