Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

This Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad takes the classic Caesar salad to a whole new level by adding tender grilled chicken and hearty pasta for a filling, flavorful meal that’s perfect for lunch, potlucks, or weeknight dinners.

The creamy Caesar dressing coats crisp romaine lettuce, al dente pasta, juicy chicken, and crunchy croutons — delivering the perfect balance of textures and bold, savory flavor. It’s easy to prepare, makes great leftovers, and is loved by all ages.


🛒 Ingredients

For the salad:

  • 8 ounces rotini or penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons

For the Caesar dressing:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
  2. Prepare the dressing
    In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, anchovy paste (if using), salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine salad ingredients
    In a large bowl, toss together the cooked pasta, chopped chicken, romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes (if using), and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add dressing and croutons
    Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat everything evenly. Add croutons last to keep them crunchy.
  5. Serve immediately
    Serve chilled or at room temperature.
