This Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole is a quick and easy dinner the whole family will love! Fluffy crescent rolls stuffed with seasoned chicken and baked in a creamy, cheesy sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Stuff the Crescent Rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
    • Place a small amount of shredded chicken and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Assemble the Casserole:
    • Pour the soup mixture evenly over the crescent rolls. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the sauce is bubbling.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add a pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
  • For extra flavor, use rotisserie chicken or season the chicken with your favorite spices.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
