Crack Burgers Recipe

April 19, 2025 by el hassan Leave a Comment

Loaded with bacon, cheddar, and ranch seasoning—these burgers are so good, they’re called “crack” for a reason!

This viral burger recipe is perfect for cookouts, game days, or whenever you’re craving next-level comfort food. Each bite is savory, cheesy, and bacon-y—no fancy toppings needed, because the flavor is built right into the patty.

???? Ingredients (Makes 4 burgers)

  • Ground beef (80/20) – 500g
  • Cooked crispy bacon – 100g, crumbled (about 6 strips)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese – 100g
  • Dry ranch seasoning mix – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Garlic powder – ½ tsp
  • Burger buns – 4, toasted
  • Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, tomato, red onion, extra cheese
  • Optional spread: mayo, spicy mayo, ranch, or chipotle sauce

????‍???? Instructions

1. Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Ground beef
  • Crumbled bacon
  • Shredded cheddar
  • Ranch seasoning
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper

Mix just until combined—don’t overwork the meat.

2. Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties, about 2 cm thick. Make a small thumbprint in the center of each to help them cook evenly.

3. Cook the Burgers

  • Grill: Preheat to medium-high heat. Grill burgers for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • Stovetop: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high. Cook for 4–5 minutes per side.

Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

4. Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the buns on the grill or in a pan for extra flavor and texture.

5. Assemble the Burgers

Add the cooked patty to each bun and top with your favorite toppings and sauces. Keep it simple or stack it up—it’s all good!

????️ Serving Ideas

  • Serve with seasoned fries, sweet potato wedges, or a crunchy slaw.
  • Pair with an ice-cold drink or lemonade for the ultimate summer meal.
  • Try mini sliders for parties or game day snacking!

???? Tips & Variations

  • Make it spicy: Add jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, or a spicy aioli.
  • Low-carb option: Skip the bun and wrap in lettuce or serve over a salad.
  • Air fryer friendly: Cook patties at 200°C (390°F) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Freeze ahead: Shape and freeze uncooked patties for easy future meals.
