Crack Burgers

Crack burgers are the ultimate juicy, cheesy burgers, packed with flavor thanks to a savory ranch seasoning blend, crispy bacon, and melty cheese. Perfect for cookouts, weeknight dinners, or game-day gatherings, these burgers are guaranteed to be a crowd favorite!


Ingredients

For the Burgers:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns

For the Toppings:

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties:
    • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
    • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  2. Cook the Burgers:
    • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
    • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  3. Assemble the Crack Burgers:
    • Toast the buns lightly if desired. Spread ranch dressing on the bottom bun, then place the burger patty on top.
    • Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.
  4. Serve: Enjoy hot with fries, chips, or your favorite side dish!

Tips for Perfect Crack Burgers

  • Don’t Overmix: Handle the ground beef gently to avoid dense burgers.
  • Use Freshly Grated Cheese: For better melting and flavor, shred your own cheese.
