Crack Sticks

These Crack Sticks are the ultimate treat! Creamy, cinnamon-sugar-coated rolls of buttery goodness, baked to golden perfection. Perfect for parties, snacks, or anytime you crave a sweet indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Assemble the Sticks:
    • Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin. Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice. Roll tightly into logs.
  3. Coat the Sticks:
    • In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Dip each bread roll into the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat completely.
  4. Bake:
    • Place the coated rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
  5. Serve:
    • Let cool slightly before serving. These can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature!

Notes

  • For a twist, add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of nutmeg to the cream cheese filling.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, but they’re best enjoyed fresh.
  • Serve with a caramel or chocolate dipping sauce for extra indulgence!
