  • 300g (10 oz) pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite!)

  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) chicken broth
  • 225g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (50g) shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat!)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

How to Make Cream Cheese Bacon Chicken Pasta

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add cubed chicken, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In the same pan, cook onion and garlic for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  1. Return the cooked chicken and bacon to the pan.
  2. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix until fully coated.
  3. Simmer for 2 minutes until everything is heated through.
