This Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is the ultimate comfort food! Tender bowtie pasta is paired with flavorful ground beef, a rich creamy sauce, and melted cheese for a dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners. Ready in just 30 minutes, this hearty one-pot meal is sure to become a favorite!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups (480ml) beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
  • 1 1/2 cups (150g) shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (15g) chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Rich, creamy, and loaded with cheesy goodness, this dish is a crowd-pleaser that’s as easy to make as it is delicious.

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Brown the Ground Beef:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, cooking for 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

3️⃣ Add Tomatoes and Seasoning:

  • Stir in diced tomatoes (with their juice), beef broth, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes to meld the flavors.

4️⃣ Create the Creamy Sauce:

  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
  • Gradually add shredded cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy and smooth.

5️⃣ Combine:

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.

6️⃣ Serve:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy this creamy, cheesy delight hot!
