Tender, juicy pork chops in a creamy garlic sauce make this dish a showstopper! Perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy dinner, this one-pan recipe is both easy and indulgent.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions
Step 1: Season and Sear the Pork Chops
- Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops and set them aside.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- Reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.
Step 3: Combine and Simmer
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, along with any juices.
- Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and simmer for 5–7 minutes, or until the pork chops are fully cooked (internal temperature of 145°F).
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
Notes
- Pork Chop Thickness: Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the pork chops. Thicker chops may require a longer simmer.
- Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
- Substitutions: Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
