Description:
This Crockpot Angel Chicken is the ultimate comfort food—rich, creamy, and full of flavor! Tender chicken breasts are slow-cooked in a luscious sauce made with cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and Italian seasonings, then served over angel hair pasta for a heavenly meal. Perfect for busy weeknights or when you need a no-fuss, satisfying dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or extra broth)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 12 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Crockpot

  1. Lightly grease your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with black pepper and paprika.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the cream cheese (about 20-30 seconds).
  2. Stir in the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, white wine, melted butter, Italian seasoning mix, and minced garlic until well combined.

Step 3: Slow Cook the Chicken

  1. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring they’re fully coated.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.

Step 4: Shred & Serve

  1. Once done, shred or slice the chicken into pieces and stir it into the sauce.
  2. Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions and drain.
  3. Serve the creamy angel chicken over the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.

Variations and Substitutions:

  • No Wine? Replace it with extra chicken broth or heavy cream for a richer sauce.
  • More Veggies? Stir in mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Want More Protein? Add sliced smoked sausage or crispy bacon bits.
  • Make it Spicy! Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
