Easy Butterfinger Balls

These Easy Butterfinger Balls are a quick, no-bake dessert made with crushed Butterfinger candy bars, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chocolate coating. Perfect for the holidays, parties, or a last-minute sweet tooth fix, these bite-sized delights are crunchy, sweet, and full of that irresistible Butterfinger flavor!

🧾 Ingredients (Makes about 20–24 balls)

  • 1½ cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 6 fun-size bars)
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1½ cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate (milk or semi-sweet)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Crush the candy:
Place Butterfinger bars in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until finely ground (some small chunks are okay).
  2. Mix the filling:
In a medium bowl, mix crushed Butterfingers, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms.
  3. Roll into balls:
Scoop and roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the freezer for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Dip in chocolate:
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler. Dip each ball into the chocolate and place back on the tray.
  5. Let set:
Chill in the fridge for 15–30 minutes, or until chocolate is firm. Store in an airtight container.

💡 Tips

  • Use creamy peanut butter (not natural/oily types) for best consistency.
  • Dip balls using a fork or toothpick to help drain excess chocolate.
  • If chocolate is too thick, add a teaspoon of coconut oil when melting.
  • Store in the fridge or freezer for quick grab-and-go snacks!

🔁 Variations & Substitutions

  • Roll in crushed Butterfinger or peanuts after dipping for extra crunch.
  • Use white chocolate or dark chocolate coating for a twist.
  • Add a touch of sea salt on top for a salty-sweet flavor boost.
  • Mix in mini marshmallows or crushed pretzels for texture.
