Easy Frozen Oreo Dessert

This Easy Frozen Oreo Dessert is a no-bake, crowd-pleasing treat perfect for any occasion! Layers of crushed Oreos, creamy filling, and a decadent chocolate drizzle make this dessert irresistible and super simple to whip up.


Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 30 Oreo cookies, crushed (reserve some for topping)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Cream Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (or 1 tub of whipped topping, like Cool Whip)

For the Chocolate Drizzle:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Step 1: Prepare the Base

  1. In a medium bowl, mix crushed Oreos with melted butter until evenly combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place in the freezer while you prepare the cream layer.

Step 2: Make the Cream Layer

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form (skip this step if using whipped topping).
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  4. Spread the cream layer evenly over the Oreo crust.

Step 3: Make the Chocolate Drizzle

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the cream layer. For a fancier look, use a piping bag or a spoon to create swirls.

Step 4: Add Toppings and Freeze

  1. Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos on top of the dessert.
  2. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Remove from the freezer 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the dessert to soften slightly for easier slicing.
  2. Slice into squares, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make Ahead: This dessert is perfect for prepping ahead of time. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 week.
  • Variations: Try adding a layer of caramel or peanut butter for extra indulgence!
  • Whipped Topping: For convenience, you can use Cool Whip instead of homemade whipped cream.
