  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 200g lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 100ml heavy cream (optional, for extra richness)

For the Cheese Topping:

  • 150g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 100g ricotta cheese
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Meat

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
