Ingredients

(Serves 4-6)

For the Pasta:

  • 400g pasta (penne, rigatoni, or rotini)
  • 1 tablespoon salt (for boiling water)

For the Cheeseburger Meat Mixture:

  • 500g ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 150g bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced (about 100g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 240ml heavy cream
  • 250g cream cheese, softened
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 120g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 120g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 50ml milk (optional, to adjust sauce consistency)

For Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley or green onions
  • Extra shredded cheese
  • Crushed burger pickles (optional, for a tangy twist)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 2: Cook the Cheeseburger Meat

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until onions are soft.
  4. Stir in the crumbled bacon and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In a separate saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add the cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously until the mixture is fully combined.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  4. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.

Step 4: Assemble the Pasta

  1. Add the cooked pasta and cheeseburger meat mixture into the Alfredo sauce, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  2. Cook on low for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.

Step 5: Serve and Garnish

  1. Serve hot, topped with extra shredded cheese, parsley, or green onions.
  2. For an extra cheeseburger-inspired touch, sprinkle crushed burger pickles on top!
