Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole

When it comes to comfort food, this Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is truly worth its name. It’s rich, cheesy, meaty, and layered like a lasagna — but way easier to throw together. With frozen cheese ravioli, a savory meat sauce, and a creamy ricotta filling, this dish is baked to bubbly perfection for a weeknight meal that feels like a splurge.

It’s the kind of crowd-pleasing recipe you’ll turn to again and again — perfect for feeding hungry families, serving at potlucks, or prepping ahead for cozy nights in.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (do not thaw)
  • 1 pound ground beef (or Italian sausage)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the meat sauce
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain excess grease. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute. Stir in the marinara sauce and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix the creamy layer
    In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and ½ cup of shredded mozzarella. Mix until well blended.
  4. Assemble the casserole
    • Spread 1 cup of the meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
    • Add half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer.
    • Spread all of the ricotta-cream mixture on top.
    • Add the remaining ravioli.
    • Top with the rest of the meat sauce.
    • Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake
    Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Let rest and serve
    Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
