No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

April 18, 2025 by el hassan Leave a Comment

A decadent, no-fuss dessert with layers of creamy peanut butter and chocolate—ready in minutes and no baking required!

These No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars are like homemade peanut butter cups in bar form—sweet, salty, chocolatey, and so satisfying. Perfect for potlucks, parties, lunchboxes, or when you’re just craving a quick and easy treat.

???? Ingredients (Makes 16 bars)

For the Peanut Butter Base:

  • Creamy peanut butter – 200g (¾ cup + 2 tbsp)
  • Unsalted butter – 115g (½ cup), melted
  • Powdered sugar – 200g (1½ cups)
  • Graham cracker crumbs – 150g (1½ cups)

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips – 175g (1 cup)
  • Peanut butter – 2 tbsp (helps keep the topping soft when chilled)

????‍???? Instructions

1. Prepare the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs.
  • Stir or mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined. It should be thick and slightly crumbly but easy to press together.
  • Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a lined 20x20cm (8×8-inch) square pan. Use the back of a spoon or a flat-bottomed glass to smooth the surface.

2. Make the Chocolate Layer

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and 2 tbsp peanut butter. Heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

3. Chill and Set

  • Refrigerate the bars for at least 1–2 hours, or until fully set.
  • Once chilled, remove from the pan and cut into 16 squares or bars.

????️ Serving Suggestions

  • Serve chilled for a firmer bar, or at room temp for a softer texture.
  • Top with flaky sea salt, crushed peanuts, or mini chocolate chips for extra texture and flair.
  • Cut into smaller squares for bite-sized party treats or a quick energy boost.

???? Tips for Perfect No-Bake Bars

  • Use parchment paper in the pan for easy lifting and clean cuts.
  • Want crunch? Use crunchy peanut butter or stir in crushed pretzels or chopped nuts.
  • For a vegan version, use dairy-free chocolate chips and a plant-based butter substitute.
