One Bowl Banana Bread

If you love soft, moist, and flavorful banana bread, this One Bowl Banana Bread is the perfect recipe! Made with ripe bananas, pantry staples, and minimal cleanup, this no-fuss banana bread is quick to prepare and always turns out amazing.

Whether you enjoy it warm with butter, as a grab-and-go snack, or with your morning coffee, this classic recipe never disappoints!


Ingredients (Makes 1 Loaf, Serves 8-10)

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 100g (½ cup) brown sugar
  • 50g (¼ cup) granulated sugar
  • 120ml (½ cup) vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
2️⃣ Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.


Step 2: Mash & Mix

3️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
4️⃣ Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.


Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients

5️⃣ Sift in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
6️⃣ Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined (don’t overmix!).


Step 4: Add Extras & Bake

7️⃣ Fold in chocolate chips or chopped nuts (if using).
8️⃣ Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
9️⃣ Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.


Step 5: Cool & Serve

???? Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
