Pecan Pie Cheesecake Recipe

This Pecan Pie Cheesecake is the perfect blend of creamy cheesecake and gooey pecan pie topping. With a buttery graham cracker crust, velvety filling, and nutty caramel topping, it’s a showstopping dessert for holidays or special occasions!


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 3 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

For the Pecan Topping:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves or chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
    • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the pan’s bottom. Bake for 8–10 minutes and let cool.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
    • Beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Blend in vanilla and sour cream.
    • Pour the mixture over the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake:
    • Wrap the pan in foil and place it in a larger pan. Fill the outer pan with hot water to create a water bath.
    • Bake for 55–65 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly. Remove, cool to room temperature, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  4. Prepare the Pecan Topping:
    • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until thickened (about 5 minutes).
    • Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and vanilla. Stir in pecans.
  5. Assemble the Cheesecake:
    • Spread the pecan topping evenly over the chilled cheesecake. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  6. Serve:
    • Carefully remove the springform pan’s outer ring. Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature.
