C.2011-Current Is this sophisticated and solid pairing of a contemporary, Egyptian-Revival in this pairing of this Donghia, “Egos,” Klismos-style Lounge Chair & Ottoman. A “To the Trade,” represented Line within Kravet Showrooms; who acquired Donghia a few years ago, amongst their other lines they carry, such as tike Brunschwig & Fils, and Lee Jofa. Lines, as well as their own, ever-expanding umbrella, of “To the Trade,” Industry represented lineage of lines with a good rapport of following, amongst the industry and standards notwithstanding. The Textile is ALSO a Donghia Textile, a Jacquard woven tone on tone strie’ and weft was used in the production of this ethereal textile, called, “Nomad,” Pattern # 10332-010. The pattern of ethnic diamond-shapes with Brocatelle, of a unique construction, which adds to the dimensional, raised relief quality of the patterning. This gorgeous upholstered lounge chair has a tight back and seat on an exposed walnut frame, the same is applicable on the ottoman. Walnut legs on ottoman and front legs of lounge chair have a slight accentuated flare to them, solid and heavy but notwithstanding the superb quality of Donghia Furniture. (Natural Walnut Finish).. ALSO the back walnut wood section at the base bottom, has a metal protective barrier, to not damage the walnut wood portion, when moving to and fro. Both pieces have the Donghia Maker’s label on the underside, as well as the ottoman has a recess circular inlay, whereupon a rubber stamp-like inclusion has the Letter “D,” for Donghia. imbedded into one of the ottoman’s legs on the underside,.
