These handsome, elegant armchairs in solid oak and fine leather are made by Philippe Hurel, France, a high-end furniture designer / manufacturer with over 100 years of history and expertise. The firm works with and sells primarily to the trade and offers extensive customization per the specifications of the designer and project. For these chairs a natural finish was chosen for the oak wood and a smooth, not grainy, leather in a rich chocolate brown color for the upholstery of the seat, back and armrests. The leather is all hand stitched to a very high quality level –like fine leather goods. The chairs are generously proportioned, comfortable, provide excellent support and have a dignified look.
