Protein Cookie Dough

December 24, 2024 by el hassan Leave a Comment

Indulge in this edible Protein Cookie Dough that’s creamy, delicious, and packed with protein! Perfect as a post-workout treat or a healthy snack, it’s easy to make and customizable with your favorite mix-ins. ????????

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour (or oat flour for a nut-free option)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (almond, oat, or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (or other mix-ins like nuts or raisins)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, protein powder, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Slowly add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture reaches a dough-like consistency.
  3. Add Mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips or your favorite mix-ins.
  4. Adjust Texture: If the dough feels too dry, add an extra splash of milk. If it’s too sticky, sprinkle in a bit more almond flour.
  5. Chill and Serve: Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for 15 minutes for a firmer texture.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Customizable: Swap out the almond butter for cashew or sunflower seed butter for a different flavor. Add cinnamon, shredded coconut, or chia seeds for extra texture.
  • Make it Vegan: Use a plant-based protein powder and maple syrup.
  • Serving Ideas: Enjoy as-is, roll into bite-sized balls, or use as a topping for yogurt or smoothie bowls.
