Ingredients
- 6 cups puffed wheat cereal
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup corn syrup
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Prepare the Pan:
- Grease a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish (depending on desired thickness) with butter or non-stick spray.
- Make the Syrup:
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and cocoa powder. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture starts to bubble. Let it boil gently for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Add Cereal:
- Stir in the vanilla extract, then add the puffed wheat cereal. Mix quickly and thoroughly to coat all the cereal with the syrup.
- Press into the Pan:
