If you’re a fan of Snickers candy bars, get ready to fall in love with this Snickers Bundt Cake — a decadent, show-stopping dessert packed with chocolate, caramel, and crunchy peanuts. Moist chocolate cake is layered with chopped Snickers, drizzled with caramel, and topped with a silky chocolate ganache and even more Snickers pieces. It’s a chocolate lover’s dream come true!

Perfect for birthdays, holidays, or anytime you want to impress your guests (or treat yourself!), this bundt cake is as stunning as it is delicious — and surprisingly easy to make.

🛒 Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 1 box chocolate fudge cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups chopped Snickers bars (about 5 full-size bars)

For the caramel swirl:

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For the ganache topping:

  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Additional chopped Snickers and peanuts, for garnish
  • Extra caramel sauce, for drizzling (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat and prepare pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10- to 12-cup bundt pan thoroughly.

2. Make the cake batter

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until smooth and creamy. Fold in the chopped Snickers.

3. Layer and swirl

Pour half the batter into the bundt pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter, then top with the remaining cake batter. Use a knife to gently swirl the caramel through the batter.

4. Bake

Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

5. Make the ganache

In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.

6. Decorate

Once the cake is cooled, pour ganache over the top, letting it drip down the sides. Sprinkle with chopped Snickers and peanuts. Drizzle extra caramel on top if desired.

💡 Tips

  • Grease your bundt pan well to ensure a clean release.
  • Let cake cool before glazing or the ganache will melt off.
  • Use room temperature ingredients for best texture.
  • Chop Snickers into small chunks so they melt evenly and don’t sink.
  • Warm slices slightly before serving for gooey perfection!

🔄 Variations and Substitutions

  • Use mini Snickers or fun-size bars if you prefer.
  • Swap cake mix flavor: Try devil’s food, chocolate caramel, or peanut butter cake mix.
  • Make it from scratch: Replace the boxed mix with your favorite homemade chocolate cake recipe.
  • Top with whipped cream or ice cream for added indulgence.
  • Add a pinch of sea salt to the caramel for a salted caramel twist.

❓ FAQs

Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! It keeps well for up to 3 days at room temperature or 5 days in the fridge. Just cover tightly.

Can I freeze it?
Absolutely. Freeze unglazed cake for up to 3 months. Thaw, then add ganache before serving.

Do I have to use sour cream?
Sour cream adds moisture and richness. You can substitute with Greek yogurt if needed.

Can I use homemade caramel sauce?
Yes, and it’s even better! Just make sure it’s not too runny or it may sink.
