Description: These Sprinkle Valentine’s Day Cookies are soft, buttery, and bursting with festive flair! Decorated with colorful pink, red, and white sprinkles, these cookies are perfect for sharing with loved ones or adding a sweet touch to your Valentine’s celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (75g) Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Soft, chewy, and full of festive fun, these cookies are sure to brighten any Valentine’s Day!

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and 1 tsp vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Add Sprinkles: Gently fold in the Valentine’s Day sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  5. Shape and Bake: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips

  • Use heart-shaped sprinkles for an extra festive touch.
  • Chill the dough for 20 minutes if it’s too sticky to handle.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
