Adorable little Strawberry Santas with a creamy vanilla center—perfect for the holidays!
Equipment
- Knife
- Paper towel
- Frosting piping bag (with a small round tip) or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped
Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries
- Vanilla frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Black icing gel

Instructions
- Prep the strawberries: Rinse the strawberries and remove the leaves. Discard the leaves.
- Cut and dry: Slice off the pointed tip of each strawberry. Place the flat, newly cut side onto a clean napkin to absorb excess juice. Dab the “body” (bottom part) of each strawberry on a fresh paper towel to prevent the frosting from sliding.
- Prepare the frosting: Fill a piping bag with vanilla frosting. If using a zip-top bag, snip off a small corner to create your own piping bag.
- Assemble the Santas:
- Pipe a swirl of frosting on top of the strawberry “body.”
- Place the strawberry tip (the “hat”) gently on top of the frosting swirl.
- Add a small dab of frosting to the top of the hat for Santa’s pom-pom.
- Add the eyes: Use black icing gel to carefully add two tiny eyes to each Santa.
Notes
- For best results, assemble the Strawberry Santas just before serving to avoid slipping or sliding.
- Dab excess strawberry juice right before adding frosting to ensure the pieces stay in place.
Enjoy these sweet and festive treats at your next holiday gathering! ????????
