Valentine’s Day Crinkle Cookies

Description: These Valentine’s Day crinkle cookies are soft, chewy, and bursting with festive charm! With a vibrant pink or red hue, a crackly powdered sugar coating, and a sweet flavor, they’re perfect for celebrating love and sharing with someone special.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz/432g) strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar

These delightful cookies are quick to make, beautifully festive, and irresistibly soft with a sweet strawberry flavor.


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until a soft, sticky dough forms.
  3. Coat in Sugar: Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of dough and roll them into balls. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  4. Bake: Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cookies are puffed and crackled.
  5. Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Tips

  • Add white chocolate chips or heart-shaped sprinkles to the dough for an extra festive touch.
  • For a richer flavor, swap strawberry cake mix with red velvet cake mix.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
